Italo Filippin

This was church-design competition in 1994 entitled “Fifty Churches for Rome 2000” by the Vicariate of Rome. My design was divided into three parts: a church, an oratory, and a rectory. It is distinguished by the two arms (the oratory and rectory) and the main building (the church). The main plan of the church is circular. The suspended gallery and the shape of the wings, reflecting the noonday sun, is a design reproduced in other structures.
